What’s a real California I.D.?

You’ve probably heard some talk about Real I.D.s. They’re pretty simple and nothing to worry about. They are the new form of photo I.D. for those living in California. They look like a regular CA I/D/ except they have the cute little bear in the corner. You already have the documents you need to get a new I.D. It has nothing to do with Covid or the pandemic. These new i.d.’s were being issued by the TSA long before the pandemic even started. U.S. citizens and all legal residents of the United States can apply for a California real I.D. This will allow you to fly domestically and enter secure federal buildings. It makes flying much easier. Starting in May 2023, everyone living here will need to have one.
