TAKE IT EASY: Easy ways to manage stress

The world doesn’t seem to slow down. Between the news, the holidays, and just everyday life, it can be a lot. We understand. Here are some quick tips from us to help you ease stress and find some calm.

Get some Physical activity in whether that’s taking a walk or getting in some convenient cardio at our fully equipped fitness center at NoHo Senior Arts Colony.

Take a break from reading the news, watching tv, and strolling through social media for a day or two. You’ll find it’s peaceful and a nice change of pace to help push the reset button on life’s challenges.

Say no. Yep, we mean it. Say no to a busy schedule. You don’t have to go to every event you’re invited to. Having time to yourself is very important for overall well-being.

Go outside daily. Fresh air is instantly beneficial. Even 15 minutes a day helps.

Drink plenty of water. Staying hydrated helps everything in your body, including your nervous system function better.

Call or text a friend and vent. You don’t have to keep everything to yourself. Connect with a trusted friend, and you’ll get those endorphins rolling in no time.
