National Hispanic Heritage Month is Sept 15-Oct 15
September 27th, 2021
Diversity is one of the best things about our country and the Los Angeles area, and the world. National Hispanic Heritage Month is here to remind us of the incredible contributions Hispanics make to everything that makes life worthwhile including the arts, culture, science, medicine, comedy, acting, sports, music, cuisine, education, leadership, civil rights, and the list goes on and on. It celebrates heritages from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. Locally, we’ve got the Museum of Latin American Art which is dedicated to showcasing modern and contemporary art from Latino artists and from Latin America, LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture, and LACMA. The Hispanic contributions to the world are robust, lasting, and extremely meaningful.
