January 16 is an extraordinary day immersed in history, justice, and peace. It is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Today we celebrate one of the most important people in history and his dream. His inspiration continues several decades later because civil rights are human rights. There are several ways to honor him and what he stood for. You can rewatch his famous I Have A Dream speech. Read books written about him. Visit the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, TN, housed at the location where he was assassinated. It’s an important experience that brings forth more enlightening details about civil rights in America. Visit his memorial in Atlanta and/or Washington DC.
