With so many strides and accomplishments, it’s a shame Women’s History Month is only 30 days long. At NoHo Senior Arts Colony, we highly regard and salute women’s accomplishments all year long. The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution, and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in commemorating and encouraging the study, observance, and celebration of the vital role of women in American history. There’s an amazing website that has tons of information, milestones, and so much more for you to learn more about this special month. From art, science, civil rights, voting rights, entertainment, medicine, military, engineering, teaching, the law, and practically from every facet of life and learning, you’ll find it here. All of these women have paved the way for future generations of women to achieve whatever is in their hearts.
