Make it extra green: St Patty’s Day Vegan recipes
March 16th, 2022
A lot of folks think St. Patrick’s Day is all about corned beef and cabbage. Well, there are lots of recipes are there to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day AND being vegan. We found some tasty ones on Forks Over Knives and The Carrot Underground. But at NoHo Senior Colony, we think eating more green food, in general, is a healthy way to celebrate the holiday. There are so many green foods to choose from including avocados, green tea, granny smith apples, arugula, asparagus, lime, cucumbers, pistachios, tomatillo salsa, baked spinach, guacamole, broccoli, and the list goes on and on. Make it even healthier by choosing organic green vegetables and fruits. You’ll be glad you did. On behalf of our entire team, have a safe and fun St. Patrick’s Day!
