In fact, there’s a competition show across that pond called The Great Pottery Throw Down on HBO Max that puts potters against each other to win mini and maxie challenges and ultimately go for the crown. But working with clay doesn’t have to be competitive at all. Quite the opposite. Making pottery is a great way to still be creative and problem solve only in a more tranquil environment. Even watching those pottery-making videos is peaceful. We even found an online beginner’s guide.
