The holiday season has begun! October 24 is Diwali and is celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains across the world. It’s a festival of lights and honors new opportunities and happens during harvest time. Many people all over the world celebrate this holiday by lighting candles, wearing new clothes, gathering with family, and enjoying great food. There was even an episode of The Office that writer/actress/producer Mindy Kayling wrote and starred in about this special holiday. As with most holidays, food is a big part of the event.
