Easy exercises to do at home

During these delicate times, it’s still important to get your body moving and enjoy some exercise. It doesn’t have to be hardcore. There are simple ways you can get in some exercise right at home. Simple stretches will help loosen up tight muscles and get the blood circulating. Take it a step further and try yoga. Many classes including beginner’s yoga are available online and for free on youtube. Yoga is also supposed to help with emotional well-being to it’s like getting a two-fer. Going back to basics, there are sit-ups, lunges, leg lifts, dips, etc. WebMD has some more information on great ways to work out indoors. As always, please check with your healthcare practitioner about embarking upon any new workout regime. Make sure to go at your own pace, stay hydrated, and rest when needed.
