Celebrate! Mexican Independence Day Festival
September 7th, 2018
On September 16, experience the world’s largest and longest running Mexican Independence Day Parades! The East L.A. Mexican Independence Day Parade begins at 10:30 at E. Cesar Chavez & N. Mednik Avenues. It’s been thriving for over 7 decades and this year’s parade keeps the fun going. There will be colorful and creative floats, marching bands, drill teams, and more. After the parade, a fun festival will take place that includes live Mariachi music, cultural dancing, original art, and of course, tasty food. FREE.
