Beat the heat at home at NoHo Senior Arts Colony
August 17th, 2021
Staying cool and comfortable during the warmer months in California is really important. When you live at NoHo Senior Arts Colony, you’ll have a spacious residence with air conditioning to make sure you stay cool even on the warmest of days. Your electronic thermostat is easy to set. Here are some more tips to help you stay cool while staying at home. It’s always a good time for a shower. It’s so refreshing. Help yourself to a shower whenever you feel too warm. Another easy tip is to make sure you stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water will help you stay cooler. Add some fresh mint and lemon and it’s the perfect way to stay hydrated. Try to avoid caffeinated drinks. Wear comfy clothes made of cotton. It’s a more breathable fabric. For a quick cool, use gel freezer pads. They are great and so convenient. They are more flexible to cover more area (versus a bag of ice cubes) and they are easily available for purchase online. Click here for more tips.[/caption]
