Pure gold: King Tut exhibit @ CA Science Center
January 30th, 2018
There are some events that only happen once in a lifetime. Check out the exclusive King Tut exhibit at the California Science Center opening on March 24. This is a very special event that celebrates the 100-year anniversary of the discovery of King Tut’s tomb by archaeologist/artist Howard Carter. It took over 15 years for him excavating in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt to finally find the most in tact burial chamber in the history of Egyptology. Many of his peers didn’t believe he would ever discover it and tried to discourage him. Carter ignored the critics and kept true to his instincts and found what he referred to as “wonderful things” and the ultimate bragging rights. The world premiere of KING TUT: TREASURES OF THE GOLDEN PHARAOH is the largest King Tut exhibition that will ever tour. Discover over 150 authentic artifacts from King Tut’s celebrated tomb – 60 of which have never traveled outside of Egypt, until now. Find out about his lineage and health. Hurry! This special event will be sure to sell out!
