Starting April 20 at MOCA Los Angeles, check out an incredible art show featuring artists Catherine Opie and Sterling Ruby. This is the first ever U.S. showing of their incredible work. Ruby’s incredibly unique art consists of large stuffed fabric sculptures. They are imaginative, surreal, dripping, and yet political as well. On the flip side, Opie’s photographic work focuses on the inauguration of President Obama. She captures the feeling of the crowd equally as she captures the President’s emotions. MOCA is a stellar venue and you’ll sure to be inspired. They have a permanent collection as well as programs throughout the year.
