Nisei Week: AUG 19-27

There so much culture all around us when you live at NoHo Senior Arts Colony. The Nisei Festival is a two-weekend event that celebrates Japanese culture. Nisei is the word that refers to the first generation of Japanese to be born in America. This festive gathering offers martial arts, tea ceremonies, flower arranging and has parade that culminates with the coronation of the Nisei Week Queen.
