If you’ve never been to the California African American Museum, the MLK celebration is the perfect time. Besides being a gorgeous venue, great events like this happen all year. The Martin Luther King Jr, Day Celebration takes place on January 21 from 10am – 5pm. There is a full day of family-friendly programs including exhibitions, sermons, reading of King’s speeches, and more. Enjoy yummy food from food trucks and dance to DJ’s.
