All that glitters: Awards Season begins

Television and movies have never been better! The awards season is ushered in with The Golden Globes on January 6. This awards show is unique that it celebrates both tv and movie excellence. Some heavy hitters have been nominated including A Star Is Born, Black Panther, Crazy Rich Asians, Mary Poppins Returns, and more. As for TV programs, the fight will be fierce to get the Emmy! For comedy noms, The Good Place, The Kominsky Method, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Barry are all winners to us. Other notable nominations include Sharp Objects, The Handmaid’s Tale, Homecoming, Killing Eve and more will make for an exciting race to the top. The Golden Globes will air on January 6 at 5 pm PST on NBC channel 4.
