True love: Healthier Valentine’s Day treats
February 8th, 2021
Traditionally Valentine’s Day is all about decadence. You know, chocolate candy and rich desserts. Thanks to the internet and lots of creative cooks out there, it can be still sweet yet a bit more in line with healthier ways to celebrate all things love. It’s important to be mindful of what we eat. That way, we can feel better, and most of all, have no guilt. We found some healthier recipes that your taste buds and your body will love from Cooking Light, Eating Well, and Parsnips and Pastries. There are also some easy ways to be a bit decadent yet mindful. Try watching your portions. Smaller portions are better for us. It’s simple but makes sense. Also, try to eat foods that have less processed ingredients. Foods that are certified organic are better and these days there’s a wide selection of them available at most stores. Make sure to take it easy on the carbs and fattier meats. And always drink lots of water. Let us know what you think of the recipes or if you have a healthy recipe, you’d like to share, please let us know. We’d love to share it.
