Happy Chinese New Year
January 20th, 2020
Chinese New Year celebrates new beginnings and new opportunities. Part of this cherished Asian tradition is special red envelopes. They include money and are given from the elders in the family to the younger members of the family. So putting together a red envelope for the grandkids is perfect! But lots of people partake in this tradition including bosses giving red envelopes to workers, and friends giving red envelopes to each other. 2020 is the year of the rat according to the Chinese zodiac. Each year a different animal is chosen to be celebrated. The rat symbolizes independence, work ethic, success, and honesty. Learn more about this interesting holiday.
