We’ll miss you Joan
September 5th, 2014
A giant of the entertainment industry has passed on this week. Joan Rivers is the perfect example of a groundbreaker full of tenacity and reinvention. She broke barriers for female comics in the 1960s, acted on Broadway, written books, written and directed movies, played Vegas, started a jewelry business, won on “Celebrity Apprentice” and most recently was one of the hosts of E!’s popular “Fashion Police.” She continued to work all the way up until the end. Her perseverance and work ethic was incredible. She’s taught us many things: don’t give up; don’t apologize for being yourself; speak the truth; pursue all of your passions, try new things; and make people laugh. Thanks for the inspiration Joan.
