Stay cool at NoHo Senior Arts Colony
June 21st, 2016
Summer has arrived in Southern California with record-breaking heat! When you live at NoHo Senior Arts Colony, you’ll always have ways to stay cool and relaxed. Take a refreshing dip in our sparking pool. Staying indoors is also a good idea. Enjoy the air-conditioned amenities such as the visual arts studio, fitness studio, artist’s lounge, billiards room, literary studio, computer/business center, and more. THere’s so much to entertain yourself without ever leaving home. We’re a pet-friendly community too. Treat your furry friends to lots of ice cubes in their water and wait to walk them until later in the day so the pads on their feet don’t burn from the hot pvement. Other common sense ideas are to stay hydrated. By drinking more water than usual, you help keep yourself more hydrated and lessen the risk of heat stroke. Stock your freezer with chilly treats like ice cream, frozen fruit, or fruit sorbet.
