Hans Richter at LACMA
May 4th, 2013
LACMA is never one to disappoint. Starting May 5, the Hans Richter: Encounters exhibit opens at the Resnick Pavilion at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Hans Richter (April 6, 1888 – February 1, 1976) was a German painter, graphic artist, avant-gardist, film-experimenter and producer. This exhibit features Richter’s fascinating career as both an innovator and a collaborator for the first time. It presents around 150 works by Richter complemented by work by his colleagues. Richter’s films, including several not previously released, will be shown simultaneously on screens throughout the exhibition. For more info on this dynamic show, click here.
